The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient's/ resident's/client's problems/needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care. The RN coordinates, provides and directs patient teaching activities and coordinates the care provided by health team members. The RN possesses good interpersonal and teamwork skills and practices the Core Values of the Mercy Health Care System.
ADDENDUM FOR RN - OR EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED AND/OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduate of state approved school of nursing
2. Current RN licensure to practice nursing issued by the State
of Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana as applicable to the facility
in which the position resides.
3. Additional training and/or certification in area of
specialization required and demonstrated by unit-based
4. BLS proficiency.
Shift and Job Schedule
Hours: 24 hours/week
Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:30am
Every third weekend and holiday rotation required.
