Job Summary

This position will oversee Mercy Health Truven Claims Warehouse, and the provision of data analysis and reporting in a manner that supports decision making related to Mercy Health and Mercy Health Select, Mercy Health’s clinically integrated network.  This position will focus on managing resources effectively, providing information useful in managing total cost of care and annual trend, and supporting the effective development of quality performance. Utilize knowledge of business needs and customer needs, analytic techniques, reporting formats and presentation to provide guidance and direction to the development, implementation and standardization of population health outcomes, clinical quality, and total cost of care actions relating to the achievement of Mercy Health's Clinically Integrated Network's strategic and operational goals
Minimum Years and Type of Experience: •Requires 3 years minimum experience in direct management or project management in the Information Systems field, • 2-3 years previous experience with database management packages and/or statistical packages; experience with spreadsheets and analysis of business information
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: "Excellent analytic and computer skills including use of data management, statistical and presentation software.  Experience in using SQL, OLAP, and Data Cubes preferred. and control charts, is also a plus.  Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Lumeera, Tableau etc.) preferred. • Ability to manage and develop team members effectively.  Experience leading projects and matrixed teams.  Prior experience with Truven’s Advantage Suite preferred.  Prior knowledge/ experience of clinical/health care related field, including knowledge of ICD-9 and DRG coding an/or other clinical nomenclature



Day Shift, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
