The Radiology Supervisor is a certified allied health professional who, under the direction of a Medical Director, is committed to applying the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of radiation, computer processing and image enhancement, quality control and radiation safety, and directs and coordinates the functions of the Radiology Department. The technologist’s growth and development is maintained through ongoing medical and technical education, research and ultimately contributes to the delivery of quality patient care. Assures compliance with rules and regulations as outlined by the Bureau of Radiation Protection of the Ohio Department of Health to assure the safety of self, patient and staff. Performs associated clerical functions. This position will assess, treat or care for patients in these age classifications: pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
