Job Summary

The Director of Cardiovascular Diagnostic Services assumes the responsibility for the development and long-term strategic and operational plans for the assigned services/divisions.  The Director position manages human, financial and capital resources, collboratively works with nurse managers, physicians, and other professionals and staff to implement and evaluate standards of patient care and organizational standards, communicate health center operations, information and mission objectives to all staff, and ensures proper education, training and development of all staff.  Additionally, position responsibilities include assuring the availability of supplies, oversight of quality control activities,and collaboration with physicians and nursing management to monitor job performance and competency.


Provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight to ensure the achievement of Mercy Health and the health center's mission and the living of it's values; creates a culture of teamwork and collaboration with a focus on providing high quality, efficient and effective patient care.


Provides planning, direction, assessment, and evaluation to ensure market competitiveness, effective 24-hour operations and adherence to Mercy Health and the health center's mission, values, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.

Manages health center capital, operating, and personnnel resources for their assigned areas in a manner consistent with the health center's plan.

Qualifications - Minimum

Bachelor's Degree required

Master's Degree preferred

Certification or licensure in the Allied Health profession, BSN, or equivalent

Five years administrative/supervisory experience in health care

Five years of experience functioning in the allied health services field, or patient care arena.

Business planning skills, physician liaison skills

Shift and Job Schedule

Full time 40 hours
