Job Requirements

You’re the kind of person who just naturally puts people at ease, and who can blend your top-notch clinical talents with a warm, patient and empathetic bedside manner — and we need you.

Responsibiities:

 Approximately 2 days per week; 8 hour shifts-probable start times 0800 or 1000. Minimal requirement is to be available 6 shifts per quarter to maintain prn status and schedule to work one day before or after one spring and one winter holiday; no call requirement for SDS prn. 

Responsibilities include admitting preoperative patients- preoperative assessments, review history, careplans, start IVs, give meds, assist with preop blocks.  IV start skills are a plus, but not mandatory as we will train.  Postop phase 2 recoveries-receive patients from PACU and progress them to discharge to home. 

Specifically, you’ll need:

  • Nursing degree (Associate preferred, Bachelor’s ideal)
  • Current Ohio RN license
  • Previous Med Surg  RN experience required
  • CPR certification

 Hours: PRN, flexible 0800-1630 or 1000-1830, no weekends
