Plans, develops, and implements the nutrition aspects of patient care, for patients of all ages, in accordance with physician orders. Meets with patients and/or families to instruct, guide, or assist them with modified diet plans. Develops and plans nutrition support for all ages in accordance with physician orders. Documents pertinent information in the patient's medical record. Consults with physicians and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care. Works with dietetic students and preceptors from various institutions. Evaluates patients for malnutrition and communicates to medical records. Performs all duties in a manner that reflect Catholic Healthcare Partners' Core Values, which are: Compassion, Excellence, Human Dignity, Justice, Sacredness of Life, and Service.
Registered as a dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for the American Dietetic Association (or registry-eligible); Licensed by the Ohio Board of Dietetics (or holds Limited Practice Permit.)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
