The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the direction of the RN and within the scope of LPN practice, shall provide care for patients, residents and clients including, but not limited to:
Implementing the plan of care;
Performing nursing procedures;
Participating in and facilitating patient, resident and client and family teaching;
Communicating pertinent information to other members of the health care team;
Maintaining standards for professional practice by demonstrating competent age appropriate clinical skills.
