This position works at the direction of the Registered Nurse providing patient care and general duties in the organization. Provides direct care for the patients as assigned, answers call lights, will perform courier and transporter functions. Collects data through a variety of means including observation and through the use of instrumentation. Provides care to patients of all age groups. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.
Qualifications - Minimum
Must be currently enrolled in a professional school of nursing and have completed two clinical nursing courses. (At least one foundation of nursing course and one medical-surgical nursing course.) or within 90 days’ post-graduation.
A minimum of one-year clinical experience.
Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions and patient information.
Utilizes proper grammar and legible handwriting, in accurately recording data and services provided.
Effectively communications with the multidisciplinary team and patients in a manner that fosters the team concept and supports the core values of the organization.
Demonstrates competency in the required clinical skills.
Registration, Certification or Licensure Requirement: CPR trained or successful completion of CPR course within three months of hire.
Hours per pay period: 0
Hours: 7:00pm to 7:30am
Weekends, holidays and On-call rotations per department policy.
