The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of illness and injuries which impede independent functioning in mobility and can be treated by physical means. Clinical responsibilities are outlined in the APTA Scope of Practice.
Provide therapy to patients in their home. Duties include performing specific testing in the evaluation process appropriate for diagnosis and functional level. Complete documentation in computer. Coordinate care with nursing, social worker, home health aide, physician and caregivers. Supervise physical therapy assistant.
Qualifications - Minimum
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Ohio.
Qualifications - Preferred
Home Health experience, EXCEL behavior, strong assessment skills, strong patient and physician communication skills, computer skills.
Hours per pay period: 48
Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
