Job Summary

Directs the outpatient rehabiliation services inculding PT, OT, SLP, AT, and personal training staff. These tasks may include program development, quality improvement, problem solving, community education, productivity enhancement, staffing, supervision of service lines, education, disciplinary action, survey preparation, consultation, and other assigned tasks.  Assists the Director of Orhtopaedic Service Line with program support.  

Establish and maintain goals, policies and procedures for the Physical Medicine Departments. Works in consultation with regional administrators to develop progressive services in all of the sub-departments involved. Directs the OP departments so that they are in compliance with the accreditation of the Joint Commission.

 

Ensures the delivery of quality physical medicine services for outpatients by identifying patient needs and developing quality physical medicine programs. Works to enhance the quality of care using continuous performance improvement techniques and effective team concepts. Develops measures for quality and appropriateness of care for Physical Medicine for appropriate age of patients served.

Required Minimum Education: 4 year/Bachelors Degree

Preferred Education: Graduate Degree

Required License/Certifications: Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Ohio

Full-time

40 hours per week

Monday - Friday

8a-5p

Exempt status with opportunities to work evening and weekends when needed
