The Data Analyst will be involved in the development, implementation, maintenance and optimization of various reporting tools and database driven applications. The Data Analyst will need an understanding of healthcare terminology to assist in production and extraction of data. The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and identifying trends in post-payment account data and active audit inventory. This includes the creation and maintenance of scorecards, dashboards, ad hoc and ongoing reporting from a variety of sources.
|Performs, maintains, and updates data entry into standard scorecards, dashboards, and other operational reports using Excel, Access, Word and other software tools.|
|Performs database editing and querying functions to maintain and/or improve data quality.|
|Collaborates with colleagues to determine information needs, assess information availability, access and analyze appropriate data and finalize reports.|
Other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Education: 4 year/Bachelors Degree
Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of dgree.
Certifications: HFMA CRCR
|Minimum Years and Type of Experience:||3 years revenue cycle experience in the area of AR collections, denials or underpayments required.|
|Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:||Must possess advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Access database. Demonstrates advanced computer knowledge. Must type 45 words per minute (error adjusted). Must complete CRCR within 90 days of hire/start date.|
|Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:||Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. Adept at queries (SQL), report writing, and presentation of findings.|
Full-time, 40 hours per week, days, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
