Job Summary

An essential part of this position is to proactively manage the relationships between the clinical and business partners, practice management team and technical staff to ensure successful delivery of identified solutions.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operations:

 Functions as a project lead. Oversees the project process by monitoring, measuring, removing barriers and supporting outcome achievements. Creates, documents and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed, and coordinates the collaboration of staff and teams from various areas.

 

Communication:

Is familiar with market topics, assists with creation and communication of information to and for management and front-line staff.  Helps to maintain the resource materials used for various projects. Posting updated appropriate documents to the HUB. Prepares communication materials when needed in collaboration with regional and system marketing team.

 

Manages provider onboarding, and works closely with physician recruiting, practice managers and various other departments to coordinate all onboarding activities related to new providers. Update provider care information.

 

Participates on selected Mercy Health Physician practice project calls, representing the region's needs and communicates back to leadership on status, outstanding issues and assists with resolution.

 

Prepares various reports in multiple applications as requested.

Qualifications - Minimum

EDUCATION:

Required Minimum Education:

4 year Bachelors Degree

Specialty/Major: Health Care Administration

 

Preferred Education:

4 year Bachelors Degree

Specialty/Major: Health Care Administration

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Required: Strong relationship management, analytical, and project management skills.

Preferred: Practice manager or commensurate experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five years experience working in a health care environment.  Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills, and experience in organizing projects of significant scope and size.

 

computer literacy; Knowledge and understanding of day to day physician office operations, including A/R Management, Billing & Coding preferred.

 

Successful completion of Care PATH training to assist physicians and their staff.  Knowledge of local physician community.
