The Licensed Practical Nurse provides a variety of patient care activities and comfort measures for a wide range of age groups under the direction of an RN. Responds to patient needs, assuring adequate coordination of therapy, treatment and procedures consistent with medical orders and nursing standards. Communicates pertinent patient information to the RN and to other members of the multidisciplinary team. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups. May not pass medications.
Qualifications - Minimum
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
Knowledge and Abilities:
Good oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrates knowledge and skill to contribute to nursing assessment and participates in nursing plan of care.
Registration, Certification or Licensure Requirement:
Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice as an LPN
CPR certification required.
Hours per pay period: 72
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Monday to Thursday with late hours on Wednesday 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Rotation on Saturday at our walkin clinic.
