Job Summary

This role serves as the primary workforce planning strategist, overseeing the end-to-end workforce planning capability within BSMH. This position manages demand forecasts on national horizons, understands the volume, skills, and availability of the existing workforce and oversees the match & deploy process.  This roles also leads annual HR planning processes, driving HR-to-business alignment in rewards, workforce strategies, culture, and development.

                                                                                                                                                    Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Actively engages and builds relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand workforce requirements, align strategy, leverage resources, enable delivery, and maximize value    

Formulates innovative workforce planning strategies, engages key stakeholders, and sees results through execution to enable to the business.                                                                                                 

Leads annual HR planning processes.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Partners with advanced analytics team to develop predictive workforce demand models.                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Ensures the implementation and adherence of government regulations, mandates, corrective action plans, and processes improvement initiatives.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Required Minimum Education:   Bachelors Degree (Economics, Business Admin, Finance)

Preferred Education: Graduate Degree (Economics, Business Admin, Finance)                                                                                                                                                   

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS (must be non-expired/active unless otherwise stated):         

Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or (Lean) Six-Sigma                      


Minimum Years and Type of Experience:

• 10+ years of related experience in workforce planning

• 5+ years of experience leading teams

• Strong understanding of healthcare industry

• Strong understanding of HR practices                                                                                                 

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:                               

• Strong problem solving, multitasking and time management skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong written, verbal, and comprehension skills required.
