Job Summary

Basic Purpose:

The Mercy Health Engagement Ambassador will report to the System Director of Pre-Service and have accountability to BSMH Marketing and Administration Leadership. This role will be responsible for facilitating and maintaining relationships with the FC Cincinnati Franchise and community to ensure Mercy Health is known as the health plan of preference. The Mercy Health Engagement Ambassador will act as the primary contact to ensure in a timely fashion all appropriate needs and issues of the patient are resolved.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and overcoming friction points, extremely results oriented, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications - Minimum

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree required

10+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education

5+ years direct supervisory/management experience. Demonstrated project management experience and partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. Strategic thinking, planning and analytic capabilities; organized and detail-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective negotiation and influencing skills. Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Willingness to manage and prioritize diverse projects and effectively lead a team. Business, operational and financial acumen in the health care field

Health care or managed care experience with Provider Relations, Network Management and Operations preferred. Experience in multiple areas of Pre-Service (Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Financial Clearance), preferred
