Job Summary

The Physician Recruitment Coordinator is primarily responsible for the support of direct recruitment of physicians for Mercy Health Physicians Cincinnati. The Physician Recruitment Coordinator is a highly visible position that is always responsible for creating a positive impression.

Qualifications - Minimum

Minimum Education: 4 year/Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent. 

Preferred Education: Graduate Degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Minimum experience: 2-5 years of healthcare and physician recruitment.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks often overlapping and running concurrently.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and work professionally with all levels and types of people (and often their spouses and families) including:  hospital administration, management, co-workers, the public, vendors, candidates, CEOs, physicians, nurses, practice managers, and more.

Must have genuine customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations and ensure follow-up and follow-through.  Must have the ability to serve multiple customers including: physician candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, physicians, senior administration, colleagues; and work in a self-directed manner in ambiguous situations.  Must demonstrate ability to build relationships on trust and follow-through with the previously mentioned stakeholders.

Must be able to travel to other locations on an ongoing basis (must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle).  Must have extensive knowledge of physician specialties and clinic models, exceptional analytical skills, be comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, and have experience establishing metrics including return on investment.

Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn other computer skills.
